N-ATLaS is a gated multilingual language model for English, Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba, released for local use and research.
N-ATLaS is a fine-tuned Llama-3 8B language model for English, Hausa, Igbo, and Yoruba. It supports instruction-following tasks, multilingual chat, translation, education, civic technology, and cultural preservation.
The model is downloaded and run locally with Transformers and PyTorch. It is gated on Hugging Face and is not an enterprise-grade or commercial system. Use is limited to organizations with no more than 1,000 active end-users; larger deployments require a separate commercial license.
