Jais is an open-source bilingual Arabic-English language model for text generation, translation, summarization, and NLP applications.
Jais is a family of Arabic-English large language models developed by Inception, a G42 company, and later associated with Core42. The models support Arabic-focused text generation, translation, summarization, information retrieval, and other natural-language processing tasks.
Developers can download model weights and inference code, while JAIS Chat is offered as an iOS mobile app. Public pricing was not found. Document processing, voice conversations, customizable settings, and enterprise subscriptions were described as upcoming JAIS Chat features.
