Fern Docs combines Markdown, API specifications, and configuration into published documentation websites. It supports API references, interactive API explorers, changelogs, search, custom domains, localization, analytics, and machine-readable content for AI tools.

Teams can edit through Git and pull requests, the Fern Editor, CLI, Slack, or connected coding agents.
