Upstage Document Parse processes documents containing text, tables, charts, handwritten elements, and complex layouts. It outputs machine-readable HTML and Markdown, with Standard, Enhanced, and Auto processing modes.
Teams use it for RAG search, document summarization workflows, legal and compliance review, and financial report processing. API use is priced per page; AWS Marketplace and on-premises deployment are separate options. It parses documents but does not replace downstream search, extraction, or language-model workflows.
