DALL·E 3 is OpenAI’s text-to-image model for generating images from written prompts. It has been deprecated and removed from the API.
DALL·E 3 generates images from natural-language descriptions and can interpret detailed prompts, including composition, style, and visual elements. It was available through ChatGPT and the Images API.
OpenAI’s current product page directs users to ChatGPT Images 2.5, while the API documentation says DALL·E 3 has been deprecated and removed. Current image generation and editing use newer OpenAI image models.
