PrimeXBT describes itself as trusted by traders in more than 150 countries. The company’s announcement is dated November 4th, 2026. Its new Model Context Protocol integration connects AI assistants, including ChatGPT and Claude, directly to trading accounts.
Account information through a conversation
Traders can connect an assistant using one link and a PrimeXBT login, without writing code or configuring API keys. The MCP tools let users monitor account activity, check market prices and charts, review trading history and ask about trading conditions in natural language. Using live account data and the company’s knowledge base, the integration can answer account-specific questions about costs, leverage, margin requirements and platform rules. The release says the aim is to reduce the need to move between screens or search for information manually.
Orders still need a trader’s confirmation
The assistant can help prepare market, limit and stop orders. Before submission, traders can review estimated prices, fees, margin requirements, leverage and liquidation levels calculated by PrimeXBT’s trading engine. Every order requires explicit confirmation before execution, and the integration offers Read-only and Read & Trade permissions. AI assistants cannot use the MCP connection to withdraw funds or transfer them.
PXTrader 2.0 is the first destination
The integration is available for both demo and live accounts on PXTrader 2.0, PrimeXBT’s platform for CFDs and Crypto Futures. The company says the connection is designed for new and experienced traders alike. Its release also warns that leveraged financial products carry a high risk of losing money rapidly and may not suit all investors. Some products and services may not be available in every jurisdiction, and the company says it does not accept clients from restricted jurisdictions listed on its website and terms.
A separate API for custom tools
The MCP integration runs on a new Trading API, which PrimeXBT says is also intended for algorithmic, quantitative and technically experienced traders. Clients can use the API to connect their own bots, applications and external tools, automate strategies and access account and market data programmatically. Supported functions include order and position management, along with custom dashboards and analytics. The API includes two-factor authentication, configurable permissions and optional IP restrictions; it does not support deposits, withdrawals or fund transfers.
PrimeXBT says traders stay in control
Jonatan Randin, Senior Market Analyst, described the launch as a way to put trading information and functions inside familiar assistants while retaining user oversight.
“With our MCP, we're bringing real trading data and functionality into the AI assistants people already know and use, making trading more accessible, simplifying complex processes and giving traders greater flexibility in how they interact with markets, while keeping them in control.”
Jonatan Randin, Senior Market Analyst
The company says the API and MCP launch expands the capabilities of PXTrader 2.0, which brings together tools for CFDs and Crypto Futures alongside fiat and crypto funding options and crypto-denominated accounts. For AI-assisted orders, the published safeguard is explicit: the assistant can prepare an order, but the trader must confirm it before execution.
