Neolix is funding expansion and cost control at once

Neolix completed a Series E round of nearly $400 million on October 20, securing capital for a global service network while also promising to reduce the lifetime operating costs of its autonomous delivery vehicles. The two aims place the company’s operating footprint and its driving technology at the center of the investment: Neolix says it will build local service hubs in major regions and spend more on data collection and training for end-to-end autonomous-driving models.

Boyu Capital and an unnamed national-level fund jointly led the financing, according to Neolix’s announcement as reported by TechNode. Jiemian, citing people familiar with the investment, identified the national fund as China’s National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund. Neolix has not publicly named that co-lead in the announcement, and the company did not disclose a valuation.

Alibaba’s fund joins the investor group

Other investors named in the announcement include Alibaba’s AEF NextGen Hong Kong fund, Vertex Growth and GAC Capital. The round also brings Neolix’s cumulative funding above RMB 10 billion, following a Series D financing of more than $600 million last year. The company described the Series E as a record-sized single financing for China’s autonomous-driving sector in 2026.

Neolix founder Enyuan Yu framed the company’s ambition around building delivery capacity rather than simply deploying vehicles. “我们希望通过努力,搭建一张高效、可靠的无人车运力网络,以AI驱动全球化无人物流基础设施,帮助普惠物流真正落地。”

In English, Yu said the company hopes to build an efficient, reliable network of driverless-vehicle capacity and use AI to support global logistics infrastructure.

Local service hubs are part of the scaling plan

The company says the new capital will help it expand its operating and customer-service network, including local service hubs in major regional markets. That spending addresses the support layer required to serve customers across locations, not just the vehicles themselves. Neolix also plans to strengthen its global customer-fulfilment network.

Its second stated priority is the data-training loop for its end-to-end autonomous-driving models. Neolix says the work should improve vehicle safety and performance while lowering lifetime operating costs. The funding therefore backs both wider deployment and the technical and operational improvements the company says it needs to make that deployment more economical.

A larger round follows last year’s $600 million raise

The latest financing comes after Neolix raised more than $600 million in its Series D round in 2025. Together, the two rounds represent more than $1 billion in disclosed funding across roughly a year, while the company’s cumulative total now exceeds RMB 10 billion. The new round’s valuation and the identity of the national-level co-lead remain undisclosed in Neolix’s announcement.

Neolix’s stated next steps are concrete: build local service capacity in major regions, expand customer fulfilment and train its driving models with more data. The company says those investments will serve a single operational goal—safer vehicles with stronger performance and lower lifetime costs.
