HIX AI updated its app-connector feature on Nov. 4, adding connections to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, according to a release from INNOVATE AI PTE. LTD. The Microsoft 365 connectors cover Outlook Mail, Outlook Calendar and OneDrive. The company says users can manage practical tasks within HIX AI instead of copying AI-generated text between applications.
Microsoft 365 joins a broader connector set
The update also covers Notion and various social media services, with the release describing integrations across major business applications. Its examples include Gmail and Outlook Mail for email, Canva for design projects, Notion for workplace information, YouTube for channel and video insights, and Zoom for meeting scheduling. The release says users can connect an account by selecting an app from the connector list and following that service’s login and authorization prompts.
HIX AI’s connectors can search and summarize inbox content, draft replies and save them as drafts. For a prompt asking for a summary of unread mail and draft replies to important messages, the release says the system can search the inbox and prepare responses for the user to review. The feature also supports searching, importing and organizing Canva design projects, and retrieving or updating Notion pages and databases.
Tasks can run across apps
The company says users can issue instructions in everyday language, such as asking the AI to summarize unread email or schedule a meeting. It describes workflows that combine multiple applications, including reading email, extracting issues, preparing a report and saving it to cloud storage. The release also says users can combine these workflows with recurring tasks to automate work from information gathering through delivery.
Other examples include pulling insight data from a YouTube channel’s latest video and creating a Zoom meeting for a specified time. The release says HIX AI can help create meeting links and share them with relevant participants. For Canva, it describes carrying AI-generated advertising copy or social media text into design work without switching between platforms.
Approval comes before changes
The release distinguishes between reading data and changing it: searches and reads can run automatically, but actions such as sending email or changing calendar events require a user preview and approval before execution. HIX AI is also designed to call a connector only when the prompt requires data from an external application. The company says the system does not access user data in unrelated tasks.
Users can manage connected accounts in the settings panel under external integrations. The panel allows them to switch a connection off and back on, change accounts or disconnect them; the release says turning a connection back on does not require reauthentication. INNOVATE AI presents the update as a way to bring app searches, content creation and task execution into the HIX AI workspace.
