Cyera has raised $400 million from Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, extending the Israeli-founded company’s Series G as it builds security controls for enterprise AI agents.

The financing, announced on September 22, 2026, keeps Cyera’s valuation above $12 billion, according to the company’s announcement. The new investment follows a $600 million Series G round led by Evolution Equity that Cyera announced in June, bringing the total size of that financing to $1 billion, according to Globes.

Goldman Sachs Joins Cyera’s $1 Billion Series G

Goldman Sachs Alternatives is investing through its Growth Equity business, which Cyera says has invested more than $17 billion in companies since 2003. Evolution Equity led the original Series G, while the Goldman Sachs investment comes as an extension rather than a separately priced financing round.

Cyera does not disclose a new valuation for the extension. Its announcement describes the company as valued at more than $12 billion, matching the valuation attached to the June financing.

“Global 2000 enterprises are telling us the same thing: they need to trust what AI agents can see and do before they can scale them,” said Yotam Segev, cofounder and CEO of Cyera.

Cyera Targets the Access Problem Around AI Agents

Cyera says the new funding will support its AI Security product roadmap, with a focus on governing access for people, machines and AI agents across enterprise systems. The company’s argument is that conventional security systems were designed around human users and applications, while autonomous software can reason, call tools, query databases and act without a person approving every step.

The company’s Agent Guardian and Cyera Endpoint products track more than prompts and responses. Cyera says they also monitor tool calls, database queries and actions across cloud environments and endpoint devices, including local agents such as Claude Code and Cursor.

That product direction moves Cyera beyond cataloging where sensitive information sits. The company is also trying to connect data access with the identity of the person, machine or software agent requesting it.

Oasis Acquisition Adds Non-Human Identity Management

Cyera’s acquisition of Oasis Security adds management for non-human identities, the credentials used by software processes and automated tools. The company says the combined platform links the location of sensitive data with the systems and identities that can reach it.

That connection is central to Cyera’s pitch to large companies deploying AI agents. An agent may need access to corporate records or internal tools to complete a task, but the same access can create exposure if its permissions exceed the task or remain active after the work ends.

Cyera says its platform is designed to govern those permissions across humans, machines and agents rather than treating each category as a separate security problem.

New Capital Supports Federal and International Expansion

The Goldman Sachs investment will fund additional AI security features, deeper expansion in the federal market and continued growth across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as the Asia-Pacific region.

Cyera’s company description names Paramount, Chipotle and Valvoline among customers using its platform to control what data their AI systems can reach. The company says its technology protects data at rest, in motion and in use, whether the access comes from a human or an AI agent.

Goldman Sachs Managing Director Irit Kahan said the gap between what AI agents are authorized to do and what they can actually reach is becoming more dangerous as their numbers increase. “Securing AI will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade,” Kahan said in Cyera’s announcement.

A Larger Bet on Private-Market Growth

The extension gives Cyera more capital without requiring an immediate public listing. The company has now raised more than $2 billion across its recent financing activity, while keeping its valuation above the $12 billion mark set in June.

For Goldman Sachs, the deal adds a fast-growing cybersecurity company to a technology portfolio that increasingly includes businesses serving enterprise infrastructure. For Cyera, the immediate test is whether its data-security platform can become the control point for the expanding number of automated identities operating inside large organizations.
