OpenAI's Infrastructure organization is hiring a Workload Porting & Performance Engineer. The role involves bringing benchmarks and real-world workloads onto new hardware platforms, measuring performance across compute, memory, storage, and networking, finding bottlenecks, and adapting workloads to use hardware better. It also requires debugging across software, runtime, and hardware boundaries and sharing findings with hardware, modeling, and software teams.
