Anthropic is hiring a manager to build and run its Influence Operations & Surveillance team within Threat Intelligence. The person will set strategy, hire and lead technical investigators, lead complex probes into state-linked influence campaigns and commercial spyware misuse, and create first automated detection using abuse signals, behavioral clustering and coordinated-network methods. The posting wants deep influence-operations or surveillance expertise, experience leading threat-intel teams, SQL and Python, OSINT tradecraft, campaign attribution and hands-on LLM knowledge. It is a ground-floor leadership role with external reporting and government engagement.
