OpenAI's Consumer Devices group is hiring a Systems Integration Manager to lead device validation infrastructure, test automation, developer tooling and lab operations. The role sets validation strategy and release criteria, builds hardware-in-the-loop systems and device fleets, and hires and mentors engineers and lab staff. It asks for experience leading engineering teams in systems integration or hardware-software validation, a technical background in software, embedded systems or test automation, and consumer hardware experience. Relocation assistance is offered, with four days a week in the San Francisco office.
