Waymo's Hardware Engineering team is hiring a Systems Integration Engineer in Mountain View to lead mechanical, electrical and software integration and bring-up of self-driving vehicle platform systems. Duties include debugging self-driving and base chassis components, advising on subsystem requirements and interfaces, running tests and experiments, and working with vendor partners on engineering and manufacturing. The posting asks for a BS in EE, ME, CE or CSE or equivalent experience, hands-on debugging of complex hardware and software, and prefers C/C++, Python and lab instruments. Travel is about 10%.
