Cerebras builds large AI chips and the compute systems around them, and this role debugs that hardware. The engineer characterizes failure signatures and troubleshoots at board, component and system level, drives root cause to silicon or PCB, and diagnoses deployed machines remotely through Linux tools, logs and telemetry. Findings feed back to design and manufacturing groups, with recommendations on test, thermal and mechanical changes for next-generation systems. Requires an electrical engineering degree, 3-5+ years in hardware bring-up or failure analysis, bench instrumentation and Python scripting. Sunnyvale-based, hybrid.
