Waymo's Systems Engineering team is hiring a lead to govern a large-scale test engineering program staffed by vendor test engineers across multiple vendors and three proving grounds. The work spans sensing, perception, motion control, fault protection, low voltage, cyber security and hardware-in-the-loop domains, and includes setting roadmaps so automation and AI tooling enter the testing pipeline, plus moving engineering workflows from established teams into new organizations.
