Waymo's Systems Engineering team is hiring a staff-level engineer to work on driving behaviors. The role involves identifying and analyzing data on key driving behaviors, developing metrics from it, and using those metrics to shape system design in open-ended behavioral areas. Duties include writing requirements and verification feedback, anticipating risks, architecting large cross-team projects, and building collaborations.
