Harvey is hiring a staff backend engineer for its product engineering team in Bengaluru, working hybrid. The role owns backend services and APIs behind Harvey's legal AI web applications: modelling data in Postgres, building multi-tenant permissions and auditing for enterprise and government customers, wiring calls to LLMs and agentic tools, and adding logging, metrics and tracing for on-call ownership. Harvey asks for 12+ years of backend experience, strong Python with FastAPI or Flask, relational databases and cloud infrastructure. Applicants must already be authorised to work in India.
