Anthropic's AI Reliability Engineering (AIRE) team is hiring a staff software engineer to keep Claude serving paths reliable, from the SDK through API layers, serving infrastructure and accelerators. The work covers service level objectives, monitoring and observability, multi-region high-availability serving infrastructure, incident response, and reliability of safeguard model serving. Anthropic wants reliability-minded engineers and SREs with distributed systems backgrounds, cross-team collaboration skills and comfort entering unfamiliar systems during incidents. Experience operating large-scale model serving or training infrastructure is a plus.
