Google Search Intelligence is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to serve as technical lead for evaluating AI Overviews, checking factual accuracy and impact on user experience. The role sets architectural direction for automated evaluation infrastructure, defines company-wide quality metrics and taxonomies, builds production-scale autorater systems, and validates them against user signals and labeled ground truth, while mentoring engineers.
