Waymo is hiring a staff-level (L6) C++ engineer for the internal platform that teams across Perception, Behavior and Simulation use to debug and triage driving data. The role owns concurrent backend services that stream 4D time-series logs and simulation data, scales data delivery for offboard storage and WebRTC, and builds APIs that let triage bots and evaluation pipelines render driving scenes. It asks for five years of C++, systems programming, and high-throughput distributed systems experience. Roadmap ownership and mentoring are part of the job.
