Wayve is hiring a Staff or Senior Machine Learning Engineer into its AV Core organisation's Core Model Safety team, based in Sunnyvale. The role owns learned emergency manoeuvre prediction and collision detection models end to end: scoping, training at fleet scale, open- and closed-loop evaluation, integration and deployment evidence. Wayve wants a strong ML engineering record, Python and PyTorch, sharp experimental judgement, and experience leading a technical area. Autonomous-vehicle or robotics experience, 3D scene understanding, and transformer or multimodal architectures are listed as desirable. Salary is $311,850–$389,400 plus equity.
