Roku's Ad Serving team is hiring a staff machine learning engineer to improve the efficiency of its advertising marketplace. The work covers translating business problems into hypotheses, building and deploying ML models for pricing, allocation and auction, running live experiments, and mentoring others. Roku wants 10+ years of applied ML and data science experience, strength in statistics, machine learning and optimization, and production skills in Python, SQL and Java or Scala. Familiarity with AI coding agents is valued, and advertising experience is a plus.
