Waymo is hiring a Staff Hardware Reliability Engineer in Mountain View to lead reliability for one hardware product area, such as LiDAR, from early prototyping through EVT, DVT, PVT, production ramp and field deployment. The work covers DFMEA and fault tree analysis, reliability test plans, failure analysis and root-cause resolution, plus test program development with contract manufacturers, ODMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
