Scale AI is hiring a staff engineer for its Applied AI group, working with enterprise customers to design, evaluate and deploy production AI agents. The work spans agent and reasoning architectures, retrieval, memory and evaluation pipelines, plus experiments and A/B tests, with reliability, latency, safety and cost in mind. The posting asks for eight or more years in software engineering, machine learning or applied AI, strong Python, and hands-on LLM production experience with agent frameworks, vector databases and retrieval.
