Anthropic is hiring a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer for its go-to-market team. The role embeds with large customers, sets technical strategy for an account, leads discovery and architecture reviews, and builds production applications and agent components with Claude inside customer systems. It also covers reviewing other engineers' designs, working with delivery partners, and feeding repeatable deployment patterns back to product and engineering. Candidates need production systems experience, hands-on LLM and agent work, Python, and a record of advising VPs and C-level stakeholders. Roughly 25 percent travel to customer sites is expected.
