Hightouch is hiring a staff engineer to own its AI-assisted development experience, a companion to the separate developer-productivity role that owns build, test and deploy. The work covers cloud development environments where agents run autonomously and execute test suites, MCP server integrations with CircleCI, Slack, Datadog and GitHub, and repo-wide agents.md guidance and skills. Candidates need strong backend fundamentals, hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or Devin, and a record of shipping developer tools. Pay is $180,000–$400,000, location independent, plus ISO options.
