The role involves building infrastructure behind products including MLflow, AI Gateway, Databricks Apps, the Agent Framework, and Foundation Model APIs, and improving the reliability, latency, and efficiency of distributed AI workloads. Applicants need five or more years in backend or infrastructure engineering, strong Scala, Go, or Python, and experience with distributed systems and cloud-native infrastructure. Real-time serving, ML infrastructure, or GPU orchestration experience is a plus.
