OpenAI's security team is hiring a software engineer to build the observability systems behind its detection and response work: scalable services, pipelines that centralize security telemetry, and reliability work that keeps those systems available for investigations and compliance. It asks for strong software engineering in Python or Go, infrastructure as code with Terraform, cloud experience on Azure, and comfort moving between databases, SRE and security. Applicants must be U.S. citizens; the role is remote or based in San Francisco, Seattle or New York, with relocation help.
