OpenAI's new cross-functional Monetization team is hiring an experienced software engineer to build the core systems behind its next-generation monetization products, including ads. The work covers infrastructure, advertiser-facing APIs, integrations with external partners and user-facing experiences, with a 0→1 emphasis on prototyping, experimentation and iterative deployment. The posting asks for 7+ years building high-scale consumer, enterprise or ads systems and a record of architecting complex distributed systems; ads, marketplace or monetization experience is a bonus. The team is greenfield and works closely with Product, Design and Research.
