OpenAI's Platform Analytics team is hiring an experienced software engineer to own systems that researchers use to inspect model quality. The work covers ingestion, storage, retrieval and query infrastructure behind Neptune and other platforms, plus dashboards and APIs for metrics, samples, traces and evaluation results. The posting asks for end-to-end ownership of a critical distributed system, fluency in Rust or C++, and depth in one area such as storage engines, telemetry or query execution; ClickHouse experience helps but is not required.
