Scale AI is hiring a software engineer for the ARC (Architecture, Reliability, and Compute) team within Public Sector Engineering. The role involves building internal CLIs and tooling that standardize testing, deployment and environment management, re-architecting services to run in air-gapped or restricted government settings, and working directly with agency customers. Candidates must hold an active secret clearance and be willing to upgrade to TS/SCI with CI Poly, and work three to four days a week from a DC, SF, NYC or St. Louis office.
