Sony Interactive Entertainment's Direct to Consumer Data Science group is hiring a software engineer for its ML Engineering team in San Diego, on-site. The posting describes applied AI engineering rather than model training: building services, workflows and reusable components for LLM-powered solutions, plus scalable APIs and event-driven microservices in Python or Java on AWS. It asks for a bachelor's or master's degree, 2+ years of professional software engineering, and hands-on work connecting model APIs to business workflows. Preferred experience covers AI orchestration patterns, Model Context Protocol, and text, image, document, audio or video models.
