Waymo's safety team is hiring for policy and promotion work inside its Safety Management System, reporting to the SMS Lead. Duties include drafting, reviewing and version-controlling enterprise safety policies, building competence and training frameworks with Learning & Development, running culture efforts such as Safety Month and town halls, supporting safety committees, and answering internal policy questions. The posting wants five or more years in SMS, organisational development or corporate governance in safety-sensitive industries, plus technical writing and culture-change experience; ISO 31000 familiarity is preferred. Travel is required for onsites and audits.
