Waymo's Compute Team is hiring a silicon emulation engineer for its autonomous-vehicle compute platform in Mountain View. The role involves simulating future silicon and software on an emulation platform, writing synthesizable transactors that connect emulated designs to software APIs through C-DPI, optimizing testbenches, triaging failures, building regression and automation infrastructure, and supporting post-silicon bring-up. Requirements include a BS in CS or EE, five years of silicon development, hands-on work with Palladium, Zebu, Veloce, Protium or HAPS, SystemVerilog, verification methods, and C++, Python or TCL scripting.
