Nebius is hiring a mid-level or senior C++ developer for its YDB team, remote in Europe. YDB is open source: it provides binary object storage behind Nebius's S3, Filestore and Network Block Storage, and a distributed relational database for internal cloud services. The work is performance: adapting YDB to QLC NVMe drives, 800Gb/s adapters and BlueField DPUs, tuning HDDs and TLC NVMe, and rewriting components with more efficient algorithms. Five or more years of C/C++ on heavily loaded systems is required; coding interviews are part of the process.
