Nebius seeks a senior backend engineer for its Storage Virtualization Team in Berlin, on-site. The team builds the distributed, fault-tolerant block and filesystem storage layer behind Nebius' cloud, aiming at sub-millisecond latency and very high IOPS and throughput despite hardware failures. Work covers virtio-blk and virtio-fs paths with QEMU and vhost-user, VM-to-storage transport over TCP and RoCEv2 RDMA, and replication, consensus, self-healing and data migration.
