Google is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (L5) on the detection and response AI team, Core, on-site in Hyderabad. The role carries end-to-end ownership of Detection AI workstreams: multi-agent systems that triage, investigate and remediate security events, plus evaluation pipelines and observability dashboards. The team also runs enterprise platforms for critical incident communications. Duties include technical direction, design reviews and mentoring L3 and L4 engineers.
