OpenAI's Future of Computing Research team, part of the Consumer Devices group, is hiring a senior software engineer to build the tooling behind AI research, evaluation and synthetic-data generation. The work covers web applications, APIs, data models and backend services, plus tools for authoring, versioning and auditing evaluation tasks, rubrics and graders, and automated runs and reports. The posting asks for 7+ years of software engineering, full-stack ownership of multi-service systems, and familiarity with generative AI or evaluation systems.
