Scale AI's Platform Engineering team seeks a senior software engineer to build shared platforms used across the company: foundational data platforms and their lifecycle, core cloud infrastructure and orchestration, and the tooling engineers use to build, test and deploy software. Requirements include 3+ years of backend engineering experience, distributed systems and public cloud knowledge, and Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Temporal, MongoDB, Postgres and CI/CD tooling. The platforms sit beneath Scale's generative AI data products, so the role is close to RLHF and model evaluation work.
