Waymo's Compute Team is hiring a senior engineer to lead a group of about five as technical lead for machine learning performance. The work covers profiling and tracing ML model performance, prototyping fixes at the application, compiler, or runtime level, setting a multi-quarter roadmap, and pushing infrastructure teams to land optimizations.
