The role involves designing, training and deploying deep learning models, building object detection and segmentation pipelines to count mosquito pupae, and modelling mosquito population dynamics to guide release schedules. It spans the full machine learning lifecycle, from prototype to production, working with entomologists, data scientists and hardware engineers.
