Roku seeks a senior software engineer for machine learning in San Jose, working on video recommendation models and the APIs that serve them. The role also covers applying large language models and computer vision to recommendations, semi-automatic annotation for natural language understanding, retraining and evaluating models, and supporting the Roku Voice system. Requirements include a master's degree in computer science or a related field, two years in a comparable role, and hands-on Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, SQL, and machine learning experience. Up to one day a week may be remote.
