Shield AI is hiring a senior software engineer for its Autonomous Pilot Integration team in Washington, D.C., on site. The role writes autonomy code — mission behaviors, platform control, multi-agent coordination, contingencies, executive autonomy — and owns it from software-in-the-loop through hardware-in-the-loop to live test exercises. Work combines motion planning, tactics and perception via the HivemindSDK on unmanned air, maritime, space or expendable platforms. The role partners with autopilot and C2 vendors and supports U.S. and international defense customers.
