Waymo seeks a Senior SDS Component Homologation Engineer to lead component-level certification for its autonomous driving hardware. The role develops homologation strategies across North America, Europe, and APAC; manages FCC, ISED, CE, and E-Mark compliance for RF, EMC, EMI, and product safety; coordinates with hardware, systems, supply chain, and legal teams; and oversees test labs, suppliers, and regulatory documentation. Candidates need a technical bachelor's degree and 5+ years in hardware homologation, regulatory compliance, or EMC/RF engineering. Autonomous-vehicle, radar, LiDAR, or compute-module experience is preferred. Travel is 15%.
