Cohere's Safety team is hiring a senior research engineer to own the tooling behind training and evaluation data. The job is to build data pipeline tooling for generation, annotation, and validation of mixed real and synthetic data, keep that infrastructure running alongside model experiments, and build analysis frameworks that find coverage gaps. It asks for strong software engineering, statistics, Python and PyTorch, and SQL or BigQuery experience, plus ownership of complex technical projects. Remote-friendly, with working hours aligned to UK, Europe or Eastern time.
