Cohere is hiring a senior engineer to build and maintain the training framework behind its frontier-scale language models. The work spans distributed training abstractions such as FSDP/ZeRO and tensor, data and pipeline parallelism, fault-tolerant checkpointing, profiling, monitoring and reproducibility tooling, plus throughput work on multi-node GPU clusters (GB200/300, H200/100). The posting asks for deep JAX internals or distributed training library experience, cluster orchestration with Slurm, Ray or Kubernetes, and CUDA/NCCL debugging.
