OpenAI's Environmental, Health & Safety team is hiring a Senior Manager to lead site-level EHS strategy and execution for its robotics portfolio across multiple sites. The work covers machine safety, ergonomics, electrical and hazardous-energy risks, material handling, contractor safety, emergency preparedness and regulatory compliance, plus incident investigation during rapid construction, commissioning and 24/7 operations. Applicants need 15+ years of progressive EHS experience with leadership responsibility in robotics, advanced manufacturing, R&D or industrial settings, and working knowledge of OSHA and Cal/OSHA requirements. The role is hybrid and based in San Francisco.
