Monzo is hiring a senior machine learning manager to lead its Borrowing ML team. The role owns the ML roadmap for credit underwriting, pricing, limits and lifecycle decisioning, spanning UK growth, new customer segments and planned European expansion, and includes hiring and developing ML scientists. Monzo asks for deep credit risk and lending experience, credit models deployed and iterated in production, and cross-functional leadership in a regulated setting. Pay is £138,000 to £176,000 plus stock options, with hybrid London or fully remote UK working, visa sponsorship and relocation support.
