Waymo's Semantics team is hiring a senior machine learning engineer to build offboard perception autolabels at scale. The work covers training computer-vision and multimodal models (including Gemini), building an agent framework that combines foundation models with perception outputs and internal knowledge bases, and using fine-tuning, prompting and reinforcement learning to improve captioning and reasoning.
