A senior machine learning engineer role in Wayve's AV Core organisation, on the Core Model Safety team, which builds foundations for assisted and automated driving — collision avoidance, model understanding and robustness under failure. The person leads large-scale data curation and rare-event mining from a heterogeneous fleet, designs out-of-distribution detection for driverless operation, and works across model engineering, infrastructure, compute and data teams. The posting asks for hands-on experience with deployed ML systems, Python and PyTorch, distributed training and large-scale inference, plus senior technical ownership.
